staying here was fantastic, as I was just a short stroll away from the beautiful West Lake and the fascinating China National Tea Museum, making every day an exciting adventure filled with exploration and amazing views.

The view of west lake from our spacious room was awesome.

The location was stunning, right on the west shore of West Lake. The gardens were like walking through a beautiful nature park, and the breakfast spread included an impressive variety of both Chinese and western dishes, all fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the cozy amenities in the room, like the heated toilet floor.

The toilet seat had way too many features to figure out easily. Still, magical gardens!

The King Room with Courtyard View was fantastic, with cozy amenities and heated floors that added comfort during the chilly nights. The toilet seat had many complicated features that were a bit overwhelming and challenging to understand. It's a great hotel for couples looking for a serene experience and leisure.

Heated floors made the room cozy.

The toilet seat was overly complicated with too many functions. I felt overwhelmed trying to figure it out. It was frustrating that the controls were only in Chinese, as I couldn't decipher them. While the gardens were beautiful, the service during breakfast was lacking and the dining options felt quite reduced compared to what I expected from a guest house of this caliber.

After visiting hangzhou before, west lake state guest house exceeded my expectations. The beautifully landscaped gardens and serene walks by the water made each day special. Breakfast was a fantastic mix of chinese and western dishes, all fresh and delicious.

The gardens were fine, peaceful walks by the West Lake made each day magical. Staff were kind, especially delivering thoughtful gifts for our children.

Staying here with my family was magical! The unique kid's package delivered by Chen Jie added a personal touch that got our kids excited for the holiday. The grounds are fine, with landscaped gardens and villas that feel like a serene escape right at West Lake. Breakfast was a good spread of both Chinese and western dishes, expertly prepared and fresh.

It was just a good pick for short visits in Hangzhou with very good value for money. The heated floors in the room made for a cozy stay during chilly nights. Bring a translation app to help with any signs around the hotel.

Text: I indulged in the sophisticated restaurant, enjoyed the marina and terrace, and did some shopping - all while being accompanied by my maximum two juveniles. Hiking was a must-do, but oh, the delightful inconvenience of the limited restaurant options!

The location was excellent, just a short distance from impressive Qing Dynasty pagodas, and the room had a great view.
