staying here was fantastic, as I was just a short stroll away from the beautiful West Lake and the fascinating China National Tea Museum, making every day an exciting adventure filled with exploration and breathtaking views.

The location was absolutely stunning, right on the west shore of West Lake, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the Lingyin Temple and Leifeng Pagoda. The gardens were like walking through a beautiful nature park, and the breakfast spread included an impressive variety of both Chinese and western dishes, all fresh and delicious. I particularly enjoyed the cozy amenities in the room, like the heated toilet floor, which made for a very comfortable stay during the cooler evenings.

Additionally, while the gardens were beautiful, the service during breakfast was lacking and the dining options felt quite reduced compared to what I expected from a guest house of this caliber.
